When do flower bulbs come up?

Spring flowering bulbs flower in the spring, but when differs per type of flower.

• February to March: crocus
• March to April: daffodil and star hyacinth
• April: hyacinth and blue grape
• April to May: fritillaria and tulip
• May to July: allium

Summer bloomers emerge in the summer in June-July. When you have planted the bulbs / tubers also plays a role in when the first green plants emerge. The first flowers bloom from July onwards. Even until November, the dahlia gives flowers.

The flowering period of the following summer bloomers are:

• May-June: iris
• June-July: callla
• July-August: lily
• July-August: gladiolus
• June: Callianthus Gladiolus
• July-August: liatris
• July to September: crocosmia
• June to October: dahlia
• April-October: anemone
• April-October: Ranunculus
